Itinerary One

5-day Iwate Trip

Wilderness and Traditions of Iwate

An intimate trip that takes you to the heart of Iwate prefecture. With access being limited, the city of Nishiwaga is a hidden gem tucked away in Japan’s longest mountain range (the Ou Mountains). We’ll join the locals here as they guide us through the roads less traveled. Jolt your senses as you immerse yourself in the wilderness. We’ll also make a trip to Kitakami where a collection of old homes will surprise unsuspecting visitors.
